[Guess who is in the kitchens BAKING ALL THE THINGS?

Yeah. Rapunzel. Everyone she knows -- which means basically everyone in the Keep -- is going to get something from her. Some kind of sugared treat specifically catered to each person, with colors and frosting and all of the above.

Once she's finished with her baking and separating, she'll be distributing.]

((ooc: basically a mingle post for Rapunzel and YOU! If you like, run into her while she's baking, roaming the halls delivering, or while she's delivering your treats to your door. If you think she'd be bringing you something, she is. If you don't think she'd be bringing something, too bad. She's bringing it anyway.]

[She smiles over at Tammy, then holds her hands up.]

Trying to stay that way...keeps my mind off...things.

Mm, yeah, things. I know what you mean. I get the Furbys to start talking; hard to think through all of those whistles.

[She smiles, hands braced on her hips.]

What were you whipping up before I interrupted you?

Oh...just a bit of this and that.

[A MILLION pastries, it looks like.]

But specifically...the tarts.

Tarts?

[Tammy looks at the spread, taking in the variety of delicious looking confections, and her stomach lets out an audible growl.]

I've never made those before. Are they complicated?

Hungry?

[She grins at Tammy, and reaches to hand her one.]

The're not so bad...I could show you, if you like?

Oh yeah, definitely. To both. [Tammy takes the offered treat and bites into it, humming in delight as the taste explodes over her tongue.]

These are excellent.

Really? You like it?

[Pleased, she reaches for one herself and takes a big bite.]

..Mmm. Well, they are pretty good...

You're understating that by a lot. [Tammy illustrates this by finishing hers in two more rapid bites, licking her lips and the tips of her fingers with relish.]

I can't even make toast. How'd you learn to do this?

Am I?

[She grins -- she...likes a little recognition. It's nice, actually.]

Well, I had a lot of free time on my hand,s at home. So -- I baked! A...lot.

Wow, guess practice does make perfect.

[Tammy slowly reaches for another one, glancing at Rapunzel to make sure she's allowed seconds.]

[Rapunzel giggles, and nudges the plate in Tammy's direction.]

I suppose so! I did get quite a bit of practice, after all.

Kind of like me and dancing. Lots of practice.

[Tammy happily takes another, biting into it and making an unmistakable approving noise.]

If you and Zeke ever get together this kitchen might explode from sheer amazing. as it is my mouth can barely take this.

What sort of dancing did you say you did again?

[She smiles, and reaches for another herself.]

Zeke? He's the...cook, right? That would be wonderful -- I love to cook, too.

Well, I don't know if he's the cook around here but he's a cook I know. Really nice guy; you two would get along really well, I think.

[Tammy finishes and wipes her fingers clean, telling herself not to be greedy. Conversation will keep her from gorging herself.]

All kinds, really. Ballroom mostly, at least in terms of competitions, but I used to do ballet for a while, and just kind of goof around whenever the mood strikes me.

[She nods.]

I would love to meet him! [Hey, if Rapunzel can meet a cook and expand her horizons, she'd love it.]

Oh, I love ballet. But -- I don't think I know ballroom...could you teach me?

I'll introduce the two of you sometime.

[Tammy finds a stool and drags it over, perching on it as she talks. And doesn't blush! She manages not to! Gold star to her.]

Oh, sure. I could teach you. It's just stuff like the foxtrot and whatnot. They're pretty easy, at least the basics.

That would be great, thank you!

[She looks at Tammy eagerly, now knowing what those words really mean. Those dances included other people, and thus she hadn't been allowed to learn.]

Now? [She holds her hands out, looking excited.]

Could we start now?

Oh.

[Well that's unexpected, but not unwelcome. Tammy's always enjoyed dancing with people who are eager to dance; makes the entire experience far more enjoyable. She smiles as she hops off her stool and pushes it under a counter, taking Rapunzel's hands.]

Sure. [Hands placed thus so, and making sure Rapunzel's are in place, Tammy hums off a few notes of the pace of the most basic box step.] I'll lead. You step back with your right, then your left, bringing your feet back together. Then step to the left, then forward, then to the right.

[She adjusts herself with Tammy's guidance, and straightens her back as she readies herself.]

Alright, I think I can do that.

[She's pretty good ad it, and -- yes. Just like that, it realy isn't so hard after all.]

[Tammy smiles as Rapunzel quickly picks up the steps, humming along with the tempo as they go through the steps. She starts to teach Rapunzel some of the variations, steadily making it a bit more complicated than these simple steps.]

So you said you loved ballet, and I can tell you've danced before. Did you study ballet?

[She moves with her, grinning with her as she adapts.]

I did! It was hard, though -- with all my hair, I always got tangled up in it.

[Give her a moment to absorb this; even leading Rapunzel around with her hair bound up, there's still no denying the weight and heft of it. She can bet how difficult the spinning of ballet would be for her.]

You're probably pretty agile for learning to avoid it though.

Oh, yes! Very -- I used to use it in the tower for things -- it's almost like another appendage.

[Really, it is! She flicks it, and uses it to open the oven.]

[Whooooooooooa. Tammy actually stops dancing at the surprise of this revelation; is there anything this girl's hair can't do?]

That...is so awesome.

[She looks so pleased with herself.]

I used it for a lot of chores back home; I was easily able to swing around the tower and get things done faster.
