My father died before I was born... My mother followed not long after. Um... I was in an orphanage...
I found a book one day. I was just learning to read, and... And it was amazing. The Adventures of Flynnigan Rider.
...That's where I got my name. Well. The one I use, anyway.
[A beat, but-- No, only if she asks.]
Anyway, Flynnigan could do everything I wanted to. He went on adventures, he wooed women, he... He had money.
He didn't need to steal to get by.
