[Rapunzel's journal flickers to life when she opens and activates, and her voice comes through the pages, delivering her message. She's short and to the point.]

[She knows things are...wrong right now. That people aren't who or what they're really supposed to be. Rapunzel can't fix that, but if anyone is injured, that much she might be able to assist with.]

Its all I've been doing since I've been turned human. I can try to be lively despite my condition.

[He rose an eyebrow at the comment about healing him. He couldn't recall if she ever mentioned that ability before.]

How? I thought no one had powers.

[That makes her laugh.]

I still do. They're just...dimmed significantly.

[She tilts her head.]

I mean...I don't want to make you. But I can, if you'd like to be more comfortable.

[And so he waits for her very impatiently. He's going to be able to breathe again! And jump into impromptu dance numbers! Wow.]

I see. Lucky for you.

[His words did not come out as bitter, but that feeling lingered in his mind briefly. Noting her hesistation, he exhaled again and gestured to his binded joints that weren't covered by the blanket.]

It wouldn't hurt to try and it would be better if I could do something other than lay here. Not like I mind be...

[He cut himself off there, partially censoring himself for her sake and not to get Kloe on his case for implanting horrible thoughts in to the younger girl.]

[That makes her laugh, and -- welp. He might have to wait a little longer than he thinks because she stopped to heal San and she needed a rest, BTU HERE SHE IS.]

[She lifts her brows and smiles, leaning to start wrapping her hair and tucking and arranging it.]

Are...are you sweet on Kloe?

[That was more than a moment, but he will refrain from mentioning it. The Once-ler swings open the door, looking ecstatic.]

Rapunzel, hey!

[He watches her go to work before turning his attention to her.]

Do you mean if I'm nice to her like I am to you or romanticly involved with her?

[Whatever okay.

Kloe's waiting. And just chillin' out.]

[She smiles and jumps into his arms, hiding her yawn by burying her face into his chest.]

I'm sorry it took so long! I had to stop by the infirmary to see Kloe.

I'm asking if you like her. [Continuing to arrange her hair, she glances over at him, and grins.]

I think it'd be sweet.

[He hugs her tightly and kisses the top of her head.]

No big deal, it's not like I don't have eons of spare time.

I did but all my advances were rejected and now she is doing the same thing as I tried to do.

[Hey, at least he was answering honestly. Then again, Kloe didn't exactly step over the line several times like he did.]

[She giggles, then squirms out of his grip to push him inside and close the door.]

Yeah, lungs. [He sits down on the bed.] Uhh, how does your hair even work?

[Kloe pinches the bridge of her nose.]

[He would have shrugged if his joints weren't out of their sockets.]

[Rapunzel smiles at him, then gets up on the bed with him, and starts to wrap her hair around him. It's already unbraided from being in the infirmary, so at least that part is finished.]
