[The voice the comes on is panicked - and the video feed is also upside down. It looks like it's been set on a dresser, or perhaps the bed.

Well. 'Flung in a bout of hysteria' might be a better description. There is a young girl that is shown pacing back and forth, wringing her hands and mumbling to herself.]

Oh, no. Oh nononono, oh no - Flynn? Flynn, where'd you go? You can't be far, can you? We had a deal - he wouldn't just leave, right?

[There's a pause as Rapunzel shakes her head, mass of hair behind her. She peeks out the door then ducks back inside, resuming her pacing.]

This is good, though, right? Yes!, this is good! I'm free, I did it! [She looks excited, her face brightens and her eyes sparkle and her tone turns chipper and excited, but then she taps her chin, looking worried.] But...where's Flynn, we don't have much time, Mother will be back in three days--

[Cue panic session number 38784.]

Oh, I need to go back, I have to go back, Mother is going to kill me...

[The view stops and she picks the device up, and you get a closeup of Rapunzel's eyeball.]

This is a funny little thing...What's it do?

[Deeeeep breath, device is set back down.]

Okay, okay. Calm down, Rapunzel. Everything's going to be fine. Just...stop panicking, okay? Stop panicking. You're free, you did it -

But...where am I?! This is a little scary, just a bt...

[She goes back to pacing. Also, hair. EVERYWHERE.]

I have to get back, I—I’m a horrible daughter! Just...a terrible person, this is going to crush her, I can't believe I did this - this is all my fault!

[She flops on her bed, moaning into her pillow.]

[It's suddenly dawning on her that she's...talking to another person. Somehow, she's still not sure on how this book works - but it's another person.

A person besides her mother and now Flynn. A real, live, person.

Her eyes widen and she chews a little on her lower lip.]

You think they're lying to us? This little note isn't true?

It all sounds like something out of a bad novel.

[Even Varric could come up with something better than that garbage.]

Now if the can prove it's the end of the world, then maybe I'll believe them.

[She smiles faintly.]

It does sound a little out there, huh?

[Of course, 70 feet of hair that glows when she sings is pretty left field, too. Hm.]

[Hawke still wonders how she keeps it from getting caught on anything.]
